Marilyn graduated from Emmanuel College and has a Masters in Education from University of Massachusetts. She taught for 30 years in the Boston Public Schools before joining Apple Orchard in 2008.

Marilyn has always known that she loved teaching. She loves determining the best way to reach young learners and getting to know a child’s particular personality traits. At Apple Orchard she enjoys teaching through play. She believes there is almost nothing that adults hope, fear, worry about, do or think about, that isn’t experienced, practices, learned or considered during children’s play. Apple Orchard is the ideal spot to introduce children to a lifetime of learning. Marilyn lives with her husband and has 5 grown sons.
