Our Mission
At Apple Orchard School, it's our mission to focus on the growth of the whole child through a play-based, creative, nature focused curriculum. We promote this growth through a warm, engaging, and stimulating environment rooted in deep caring and trusting relationships among teachers, children, and families. Apple Orchard is committed to creating a diverse community of families, students, and faculty. We strive to ensure everyone at Apple Orchard feels a sense of connection and belonging.

Our school is in the center of Allandale Farm on 100 acres of land in Brookline.

Belief that play-based education is critical at this age with a focus on outdoor learning and social- emotional skills. We are a blended program of Reggio Emilia, Montessori and socio-dramatic play which is incorporated in our daily extensive use of the outdoors.

Our barn is home to 1 miniature horse, 2 goats, and 1 donkey.
Children see chickens – ducks- turkeys – turtles – rabbits – salamanders – mice – red tail hawks – frogs – geese – snakes – praying mantis – bees – deer – fox – herons and 2 long horned highland steer.
